A wheat sheaf table and some cozy blankets from an estate sale.

We had to move the sofa to the other side of the living room to make room for these jade plants.  They are ridiculously large.

Switched out some art in the living room with some art copies.

Here’s what it looked like before.

Picked up a couple carved African stools at the Randolph Street Market.  I don’t know much about them but I think the taller one is from Cameroon and the smaller stool is from Congo.

Added four vintage casters on a piece of wood for our baby rubber plant to follow the sunlight throughout the day.

Looking out from our bedroom to the hallway.  Used frame from Craigslist.

Looking from the kitchen towards the hallway.

A simple white 4′ x 3′ metal frame kit for just under $70 from American Frame (with free shipping).  I already had the plexiglass, foam core and wire hanging kit.

A new plant from Cattails, a flower shop in Wicker Park.  From what I read online, this one might be a hybrid and may not grow as large.  They also have the fiddle leaf fig, string of pearls and staghorn fern, which I was tempted to buy.

The other side of our mantel, which was completely empty for a little while.  The floral painting was relocated from the bedroom and a few things are new.

Our dining nook off the living area.  Just enough space for a small table and hutch.  Looking for two more McCobb chairs to complete our set.  For now we just have mismatched Danish modern chairs.
